Hero by Martin Firrell – Featuring Nathan Fillion

November 12th, 2007 Posted in Nathan Fillion, Related Movies and TV

Martin Firrell and Nathan Fillion present Hero, a public art project
Heroism, strength, kindness, and Nathan Fillion……could there be any better combination? I think not. Hero: the future of gods, icons and heroes is a brilliant art exhibit currently being previewed online. Nathan Fillion is the face of a new breed of hero, one displaying strength without force. Its creator is artist Martin Firrell, known for his provocative, word-based public art pieces. The project is an “attempt to define a new kind of heroism,” and Martin chose Nathan to exemplify this new breed of kinder, gentler hero.

It was an enormous thrill to have Martin include one of my comments in Hero part 2….so much so that I just have to show off! :)

I have always believed, to my very core, that heroes are quiet, doing whatever they are able to do in order to help a situation or person, without crowing, hoopla or fanfare. They just do whatever it is they can do — and then go on about more of the same.
